REGISTRATION | $900/team
Registration has closed for 2021 Minnesota Presidents Cup.
US Youth Soccer Minnesota Presidents Cup presented by Mayo Clinic Orthopedics and Sports Medicine gives Minnesota Youth Soccer teams in the 13U–19U age groups an alternative to the Minnesota State Cup and a chance to play against teams of similar abilities for the goal of State, Regional and National titles.
This event provides a progressive, competitive experience to teams that might not otherwise get the opportunity to participate in a series of unique experiences highlighting competition, camaraderie and community from the state to regional to national levels of US Youth Soccer.
Note: We highly encourage Premier I teams to register for State Cup and Premier II & First Division teams to register for Presidents Cup. This general guideline is used throughout the nation to ensure the integrity and competitiveness of each event remains intact.
Teams have the option to enter either the Minnesota State Cup or Presidents Cup but may NOT enter both.
Teams that compete in the top division of the National League as well as teams that finished in the top four of the previous year’s State Cup are not eligible to compete in Presidents Cup.

In order, the seeding for USYS State is as follows:
All registered teams will be accepted into our Presidents Cup (assuming they meet all the basic rule requirements), and are guaranteed two games. The exact format will be determined by the total number of registered teams per age group, and MYSA reserves the right to have play-in games. Teams competing in play-in games will be responsible for the field and referee costs.
2021 REFUND POLICY
If Minnesota Presidents Cup is canceled due to COVID-19 or other extenuating circumstances as determined by MYSA, teams will be refunded $600. If a team withdraws or is disqualified, no refunds will be given, however, if a team does not qualify (i.e. win a play-in game), then the entire fee will be returned less the play-in game cost.
If US Youth Soccer cancels Regionals or Nationals, no refunds will be given as the decision to cancel is independent of Minnesota Presidents Cup.
Our plan is to have a 19U age group for both Minnesota State Cup and Presidents Cup. USYS is currently surveying states to determine the exact format for 19U regionals and nationals.
