All Club Administrators/Registrars will need access and be familiar with SportsConnect.

Why did Minnesota Youth Soccer select the PlayMetrics Governing System?
Minnesota Youth Soccer selected PlayMetrics to support membership and competition operations at the state level. The platform provides a modern foundation that brings together governance, operations, and service — improving transparency, efficiency, and the overall experience for Minnesota Youth Soccer and its affiliated clubs.
What does this mean for affiliated clubs?
MYSA will use the PlayMetrics Governing System for state-level membership and competition operations beginning with the Fall 2026–2027 season.
Do clubs need to take action right now?
No immediate action is required. Clubs should continue planning and managing upcoming seasons as usual. MYSA will provide clear timelines, guidance, and resources well in advance of Fall 2026–2027.

Will Governing System training and support be available?
Yes. MYSA and PlayMetrics will provide training sessions, informational resources, and support ahead of the Fall 2026–2027 season. Additional details, including webinars and learning opportunities, will be shared closer to implementation.
Will this impact my club’s current season or upcoming registration?
No. Current and upcoming seasons are not impacted by this announcement. Any future changes will be communicated with ample lead time to allow for planning and preparation.
Will clubs be required to use PlayMetrics as their Club Operating System?
No. Clubs may choose to either:
- Use PlayMetrics as their complete Club Operating System with seamless data integration to Minnesota Youth Soccer, or
- Continue using their current registration provider and upload required data with PlayMetrics at the state level
Both approaches are supported.
