Landscape of Youth Soccer in Minnesota

By Minnesota Youth Soccer, 06/25/18, 2:45PM CDT

June 20 Town Hall Forum

One year ago, Minnesota Youth Soccer Association (MYSA) held a Future Landscape of Soccer in Minnesota meeting and from that created the Landscape Task Force whose purpose was to deeply assess the soccer landscape and identify impending needs of our member clubs. The 14 member Landscape Task Force worked exhaustively for you and brought forward a detailed report with recommendations to retool, expand and structurally change programming and leagues of the MYSA.

On Wednesday, June 20, Minnesota Youth Soccer held a Town Hall Forum to update members on changes and implementations of recommendations that have taken place over the past year and finished with a forum discussion on the future of the youth game in the state and region.

A copy of the forum presentation (at right) has been designed to highlight changes and initiatives related to MYSA leagues, levels, development, events and operations. We also took in dozens of feedback cards and questions during the forum.  We look forward to listening to and responding to ongoing discussions on how to best to serve our state of soccer.

If you have any questions or needs, please feel free to contact myself or any of the MYSA State Office staff. MYSA wishes you a great summer season!
