Launched in 2018 to replace the “F” and “E” Licenses, the GR courses are designed to offer coaches an a-la-carte approach to access education relevant to their specific coaching environment. Each game format has both a 2-hour online (launched in spring 2018) and 4-hour in-person course option, each resulting in a U.S. Soccer license. Courses can be taken in any order, with no required waiting period between each.
Prerequisite:
Revamped in 2018 as a culmination of the new GR courses to address all four game formats. A two-weekend course separated by a development period during which coaches complete assignments in their team environment. See link above for "Introduction to Grassroots Coaching" module.
