The Goalkeeper Challenge is a four-day intensive training program designed for the highly committed and motivated goalkeeper ages 14 and up, including current college goalkeepers.
Goalkeepers will experience:
- Daily on-the-field technical and tactical instruction from the highest quality GK staff possible
- Daily classroom lectures and video analysis on the topics of the day
- Daily physical training featuring speed, agility, power and a demanding self-training series
- Goalkeeper War Tournament
Curriculum:
- Shot-stopping: Catching, diving, tipping, parrying
- Breakaway Saves: Responding to 1v1 and 2v1 situations
- Dominating the 18 yd Box: Dealing with crossing situations
- Being the 1st Attacker: Technique and tactics of throwing, dropkicks, punts and goal kicks
- Leading from Behind: Organizing, dealing with back passes, and playing the ball at your feet
