Deadline: June 20, 2013 by 10:00 pm via the MYSA website (with your team login/password provided at the mandatory competitive team rep. meeting)
Fee: $65 per team (payable before your first playoff game) and one-half of the referee fees per match
Each District provides a season-end tournament in order to qualify for advancement to the MYSA Summer State Tournament. Field location and times will be published on the MYSA website by each individual district. If you sign up and choose not to participate a fine will be imposed.
All teams will in play in the State Tournament Qualifiers, there are no direct seeds to the State Tournament.
By registering “Yes” via the MYSA website by the published deadline, teams are committing to all post league play (State Tournament Qualifiers and the Summer State Tournament. EACH TEAM MUST LOGIN and select YES or NO to participate in playoffs. The result of your decision will be posted on the standings page on the MYSA website under Leagues/Standings in the far right column of your league page titled “Playoffs”. You may make or change your selection up until 10:00 pm of the designated deadline. All teams that have not responded at that time will automatically be changed to no and there will be NO EXCEPTIONS.
The MYSA Competitive Committee sets the number of seeds in each District. The State Tournament Qualifiers are a single elimination format. A willful forfeit in a State Tournament Qualifier will result in a team not advancing to the Summer State Tournament and a fine will be assessed.
Note: Post league rosters will be frozen (including play-ups) before your first State Tournament Qualifier game for the remainder of post season play. Official MYSA rosters will be provided at check-in.
Each team is allowed up to three (3) call-up players from a lower age or division within the same club to be added to its roster at registration except that:
For League Playoffs, each team will pay one half of the referee fees. Each team will bring the exact amount in cash for the three referees. Please put the money into two separate envelopes for each game; label one for the line and one for the center. Please give these to the center referee upon check in. For Regionals and the Summer State Tournament, referee costs are included in the registration fee.
The following are the 2013 Referee fees for each game:
|U11-U12||$82.00 total ($34 for the center and $24 for each line)
Each team brings $24 for a line and $17 for the center.
|U13-U14||$88.00 total ($36 for the center and $26 for each line)
Each team brings $26 for a line and $18 for the center.
|U15-U16||$95.00 total ($39 for the center and $28 for each line)
Each team brings $28 for a line and $19.50 for the center.
|U17-U19||$112.00 total ($46 for the center and $33 for each line)
Each team brings $33 for a line and $23 for the center.
