Winter Symposium

2013 MYSA Winter Symposium

Date: Saturday, February 2, 2013
Location: Minneapolis Convention Center
1301 Second Ave S
Minneapolis, Minnesota 55403

MYSA is committed to the development of administrators and coaches as well as players. As a way to achieve this goal, each year we offer a day-long symposium filled with topics to assist you in your role(s) within your club. This year’s event was designed so that coaches and administrators had the opportunity to attend sessions designed to help them make an IMPACT within their community.

The MYSA Technical Certificate Course was offered for the first time. The course is designed to improve U9–U17 coaches’ ability to teach the application of technique in the game: how to pass, receive, dribble, shoot, head and defend. Approximately 200 coaches attended the required number of sessions and were awarded with a certificate.
