6.101 Annual General Meeting
The Members of the MYSA shall meet once per year at a date and time determined by the Board of Directors no less than 90 days in advance of the meeting. This meeting shall be known as the Annual General Meeting (AGM). Actions and policies adopted by the Board of Directors and the MYSA officers and directors shall be reported to the membership at the AGM. Notice of the AGM and the agenda shall be given to the membership at least 15 days in advance of the meeting.
The 2015 Minnesota Youth Soccer Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held Saturday, November 7, 2015 at the Minneapolis Convention Center. We ask that each Affiliate Member take the time to review this year’s Proposed Amendments to the MYSA Bylaws and Rules and send a representative(s) to the meeting to cast its votes.
The AGM will be held following the Minnesota Youth Soccer Annual Recognition Banquet, which all registered voting delegates are encouraged to attend and will receive a free ticket to. The Banquet will be in Room M100 and will begin at 11:00 a.m. with doors open for seating at 10:30 a.m. The Banquet is the annual event at which we honor the Minnesota Youth Soccer Annual Award winners and Hall of Fame inductee(s), and present Regional and/or National team/player awards. Additional luncheon tickets may be purchased in advance for a fee of $17.50, or $20.00 at the door.
Delegate registration/check in for the AGM will begin after the Banquet at 12:30 p.m. outside Room L100 and the AGM will start at 1:30 p.m. Each Affiliate Member must choose a lead delegate prior to the AGM. If the Affiliate Member President is attending the meeting, the lead delegate will be the Affiliate Member President. If the Affiliate Member President is not attending, the Affiliate Member must inform Minnesota Youth Soccer who the Affiliate Member's lead delegate is at the time of registration/check in.
