MYSA Fall State Championship

Dates: October 15–16, 2016

Location: Rochester, Minn.

Deadline: September 29, 2016 by 10:00 pm via the MYSA website (with your team login/password provided upon completion of the mandatory online competitive team rep. presentation).

Fee: TBD  (payable to MYSA, at headquarters before first game).
Note: fee in 2015 was $275 per team which includes referee fees


MYSA administers a fall season-ending state championship for the following leagues for both boys and girls: U11, U12, U13 and U14 for all competitive divisions. A minimum of four and a maximum of six teams participate in each division based on league standings, seeds per district and participation response. If there are not enough teams that wish to participate in a particular age/gender/division, the bracket may be reduced to four or dropped. If you sign up to participate and qualify and then drop or do not show up, your team will be imposed a fine.

  • Awards will be given to the first and second place teams.
  • Seeds may change in each district depending upon the participation response after the sign up deadline.
  • A four-team bracket will play a single-elimination round and either a championship or consolation game for a guarantee of two games.
  • A six-team bracket will play a round robin with two other teams in their group and the team with the highest points in each group will advance to a championship game. This guarantees a minimum of two games with a maximum of three games for the first and second place teams.

The team registration fee (which includes referee fees) will be due at check-in before your first game at the championship headquarters. All teams that reply YES via the MYSA website by the published deadline will receive a confirmation email after the deadline. Once league play has ended and all scores have been reported, qualified teams will appear in the appropriate bracket listed on the website.
