The Official Program for Youth Athletes with Disabilities
TOPSoccer, created in 1991, is a community-based soccer program that is designed to meet the needs of children with physical and/or mental disabilities. The emphasis of this program is on development, training, and meaningful participation rather than on competition.
Athletes are placed on teams according to ability NOT by age. Our goal is to enable youth athletes with disabilities to develop their physical fitness, technical skills, courage, and self esteem, through the joy and excitement of playing soccer. TOPSoccer fosters the physical, mental and emotional growth and development of America’s youth through the sport of soccer at all levels. In short, TOPSoccer takes kids from the sidelines to participating in the game.
