Background Check: Adult Referees

The Minnesota Youth Soccer Association requires that all adult referees complete an annual background check. All referees who are at least 18 years old must meet the background check requirements before they can participate in any MYSA-related activities.

Background checks are valid on a calendar year basis (January 1 through December 31). The period for completing a background check for 2018 opened on November 1, 2017. Background checks that were completed before November 1, 2017 will expire on December 31, 2017. Background checks that are completed on or after November 1, 2017 will expire on December 31, 2018.
