Result oriented in youth soccer is counter-productive for development
From time-to-time, MYSA, in an attempt to service a more diverse population and provide varying opinions regarding soccer and the development of our youth, will provide articles and corresponding translations to our readers. The following article, from the Argentinean newspaper El Clarín (reprinted with permission), illustrates that even in arguably one of the most accomplished soccer nations in the world where Soccer is Life, experts contend that the emphasis on winning alone is detrimental to the development of a player.
