Locations: Coon Rapids, Lakeland and Lakeville

Deadline: Thursday, June 21, 2012 by 10:00 pm via the MYSA website

Fee: $300.00 per team (payable to MYSA at tournament HQ before first State game)

MYSA administers a season-ending summer state tournament for the following leagues for both boys and girls: U11, U12, U13, U14, U15, U16, U17, U18, & U19 for all competitive divisions. Each bracket will have a minimum of four (4) teams and a maximum of six (6) teams. If there are not enough teams that wish to participate in a particular age/gender/division, the bracket will be reduced to four or dropped. The Competitive Committee will set the number of teams for each gender, age group and division based on league formation.

All teams have an opportunity to participate either through league playoffs, regionals or by a direct berth to the state tournament if you sign up by the deadline.

  • Awards will be given to the first and second place teams
  • Seeds may change in each district depending upon the participation response after the signup deadline
  • A four team bracket will play a single elimination round and either a championship or consolation game for a guarantee of two games.
  • A six team bracket will play a round robin with two other teams in their group and the team with the highest points in each group will advance to a championship game. This guarantees a minimum of two games with a maximum of three games for the first and second place teams.

Registration for this tournament can be done on the MYSA website by the published date on the MYSA calendar. If you sign up to participate and do not, a fine will be imposed.
