Fee: $60 per team (payable before first district game)
Each District provides a season-end tournament in order to qualify for the MYSA State Tournament. No team will be allowed to participate in a District Tournament unless it commits to play in the State Tournament. By registering “YES” via the MYSA website by the published deadline, you are committing to both the District and State Tournaments if you qualify. Field location and times will be published on the MYSA website by each individual district. If you sign up and choose not to participate, a fine will be imposed.
State Tournament rosters will be frozen at districts.
The District Operating Committee (DOC) sets the number of seeds in each District. The District Tournaments are a single elimination format. A willful forfeit in a District Tournament will result in a team not advancing to the State Tournament and a fine will be assessed.
Each team is allowed up to three (3) call-up players within the same club to be added to its roster at District Tournament registration except that:
- Any player on a team automatically seeded to the State Tournament may not participate in a District Tournament;
- No player may be rostered on more than one District or State Tournament team;
- No Premier player may be added to a non-Premier team;
- Only 14 players may be listed on the roster at registration for U11–U12;
- Only 18 players may be listed on the roster at registration for U13–U16;
- Only 22 players may be listed on the roster at registration for U17–U19 (only 18 may dress per match).
