| Coaching Education: USSF National Youth License Course Complete |
MYSA hosted the USSF National Youth License course over two weekends in June at Macalester College. The course was led by Gary Allen from Virginia, Austin Daniels from Connecticut, and John Curtis from MYSA.
The thirty candidates who took the course represented several different clubs, including: Bloomington, Cottage Grove, Eagan, Madison (WI), Maplebrook, Middleton (WI), Minneapolis United, Minnesota Thunder Academy,
Minnesota Thunder Plus, Rochester, St. Croix, St. Michael/Albertville, St. Paul Blackhawks, Twin Cities Fire, Tonka United and Woodbury. A special thanks to all the U6-U12 players from HGRA, Hudson and Blackhawks who participated in the field sessions.

| Coaching Education: US Youth Soccer Region II TOPSoccer Symposium (Aug. 14-15, 2009) |
MYSA is pleased to host the 2nd Annual US Youth Soccer Region II TOPSoccer Symposium August 14-15, 2009 in Andover, Minn. TOPSoccer (The Outreach Program for Soccer) is a community-based soccer program
that is designed to meet the needs of children ages eight and older with physical and/or mental disabilities.
The Region II Symposium brings together representatives from the 14 state associations.
The symposium will include the newly launched US Youth Soccer TOPSoccer Coaching Course led by Sam Snow, US Youth Soccer Technical Director.
With an impressive line of presenters and topics, the symposium is sure to have something of interest for coaches, administrators and parents alike.

| Player Development: College Development Program (July 27-29, 2009) |
The College Development Program caters to ambitious players, high school sophomores and older, who aspire to play at the college level. The CDP is an intensive three-day camp staffed by college coaches.
On-field and off-field sessions replicate the initial days of a college preseason to educate players on the academic, athletic, psychological and social demands of being a first-year college athlete. For more information and to register visit:
