| Online Club Directory |
Effective Thursday, November 20, the online club directory listing on the MYSA website will be revised to include the following structural changes:
- Addition of the “Treasurer” position
- Renaming “Promotions Contact” to “Fundraising Coordinator”
- Elimination of “Other Contact”
- Addition of two “Open” positions that each club will be able to rename
Each club must list a minimum of three people as club contacts, with the positions of President and Treasurer being mandatory. MYSA bylaws and rules require all affiliate member clubs to maintain corporate status and remain in good standing with the state of Minnesota. Because Minnesota statues require corporations in good standing to have an acting president and an acting treasurer, MYSA requires member clubs to maintain the contact information for each of these individuals through the MYSA online directory as a matter of transparency.
Complete and accurate contact information for all of the positions is necessary to ensure that the appropriate people receive important communications from the MYSA in a timely manner. Each club’s President and Registrar has the login procedure to update this information accordingly as it changes.

| U16 Rosters Expanded |
Recently, US Youth Soccer made the decision to expand U16 rosters from 18 to 22 players. As a result, the MYSA Board of Directors voted at its November 1, 2008 meeting to expand MYSA U16 rosters from 18 to 22 players to ensure compliance with US Youth Soccer rules. Please keep in mind though that only 18 players may check in and participate in any one match.
